Bug Zapper

Ok, you are sitting on the back porch and then ZAP, CRACK, POP!!! You know what that sound is, it's a bug that is too stupid to avoid flying into the blue glowing light. Then for the next 10 minutes the conversation is about how stupid bugs are, and is constantly interupted by the Zap, Crack and Pop of more bugs diving into the light.
What do you ask made me think of this? Well I was driving down the road tonight and some idiot had his bright lights on. Instead of doing like I should (look away from the light and towards the white line on the side), I found myself drawn into watching the light and then once the car passed I was seeing spots and kicking myself for being stupid like a bug.

Calling Information

Stalking

On Saturday Julie and I went shoe shopping. While we were out, I mentioned a guy that I thought was cute. I told Julie that I know where he works a part time job. So tonight she and I got together at Starbucks so she could check him out. Of course, our time together was more than just talking about him, we talked about all sorts of different things. As we got up to leave, I thanked Julie for joining me on my stalking adventure.
It's not really stalking, is it? I hope not. I don't want to be thought of as a crazy woman. No, it's not stalking, it's just admiring God's creation. Yeah, that's what it is: admiring God's creation.

Blonde Hair

My hair has been some shade of blonde for my entire life. Be it naturally or "with a little help from my friends". Well recently I decided to go darker. Not necessarily dark brown, but a bit darker than I have been.
Since moving back from HK, I have been in search of a hair dresser. Well I am pretty sure I have found "the one" He's funny, he's cute and he has the greatest accent. We are working out the relationship kinks still: He was so gracious when I went back a few days later asking for him to do a bit more on my haircut. I just wasn't crazy about how it turned out the first time, but now I'm happy with it.
But a new problem has come up. This time, it's the color. As I mentioned before I have decided to go darker, but this time, for some reason he went lighter. My problem on the lighter hair is that during the summer, my face gets red when I am hot. and too blonde of hair makes it even more noticeable. So I guess I am going to see if there is any chance that he can put a toner on it.

Tape Recorder

Well I now have the tape recorder!! Julie and I got together yesterday and so I got it from her. (good thing she remembered, because I had forgotten...I would have remembered about 3 days later) Now I can start recording my random thoughts that I have while I am driving down the road, and I won't have to worry about forgetting those GREAT ideas.

Wiggles

So I spent Mother's day with my mom and my neice at Robert's Stadium along with a bunch of other people and the children. What was I doing there you ask? I was watching adults dance around dressed in chicken costumes, a pirate costume, and as a dinosaur and then of course 4 of the guys didn't have to dress in crazy costumes, but they were still dancing around and acting crazy. And who were these crazy folks. None other than the world renowned "WIGGLES" If you don't know who they are, then you probably don't have a child in your life. And you are missing out on alot of fun. I think I had about as much fun as my neice had. They were a hoot. Almost everyone of their songs has motions to it and everyone was participating in doing the motions to the songs. We bought Evie a little sailor hat (the theme of the show was "Sailing Around the World) She looks so cute in the hat.

Wrong Number

So today, my home got a phone call that was a wrong number. But the person who called didn't know who they were calling (returning a page) and my mum assumed that maybe I did page this guy. So what does she do...gives him both my email address and cell number. What was she thinking? I had to give her a "lecture" on when to give things out to strangers and when not to. Didn't she take her own advise "Don't talk to strangers"

Cancelling my massage

So this week, even though I knew it was going to be a bit busy, was supposed to be "ME" week. (but then again, when isn't it me week. I'm single who do I have to worry about but me.) Anyways, I scheduled a hair appointment for Tuesday and a massage on Thursday. Well, last week, I realized that this week was going to be more hectic that I originally thought. And, one way that became obvious was that I scheduled a meeting during my massage appointment. So I had to give Denise a call to reschedule. No problem right? Well I got it rescheduled for monday and tonight I realized, I can't do my massage on Monday because I have to take an exam for grad school entrance. UGH!! How am I going to destress if I can't get a massage.
